The Intercom Pack allows you to manage conversations, leads, articles, and more - right from a Coda doc. And that’s just the start.

Within this article you’ll find...

Examples, tips, and tricks

You can do a lot with Intercom and Coda - sync Conversations (and all their info) into Coda, create leads via a button, view and manage articles, and more. As if often the case with the Coda, the possibilities are quite vast. In this section, we’ll share a few helpful applications for the Intercom Pack.

Categorize feedback from Conversations

You can create a tracking system for user feedback based on your Intercom conversations. To start, install the Pack and add the Conversations sync table to your doc. From there, you can check out either of the templates below for instructions on how to build out feedback tracking in Coda.

Send easy follow-ups to specific users

Another common use of the Intercom Pack is to use Coda to tag your users - based on the interaction or on other customer qualities - then send automatic follow-ups to those users based on their tag. For instance, maybe you want to send a follow-up to all the users who’ve recently shared product feedback. You can tag those users with product feedback in Coda, then create and send a set message to all users with that tag - right from your Coda doc. Check out this template to learn more.

Reply to open conversations

Start by adding a Conversations sync table from the Intercom Pack, then filtering it to show only the open conversations. Then use the “Reply to conversation” Pack button to quickly send replies to all of those open conversations - with only a few clicks from your doc. Here’s an example of this in action.

FAQs

Should I set up a shared or private account for the Intercom Pack?

The answer depends on your preferences and how you intend to use the table, button, or column. A private account is one that only you - the person setting up that account - can use to take actions from the Coda doc. A shared account is one that can be used by anyone who has access to the doc.
