Whether it’s using a filter formula or the search icon, how you choose to find information in your tables is in your control! Tables can support user-specific search via the search bar in the upper-right corner of tables (see below). Results populate in real-time for your eyes only, which means you can filter out and search without disrupting what others are viewing on the same page.

This search functionality scans across all visible column types including text values from select lists, number columns, and users in the people column.

If you want to filter the results permanently, you can do so by creating a user-specific view. This will change the table format to reflect the search results you specified.
