Access the table display options

The table display panel is your hub for customizing the look of your table. To open this panel, follow these steps:

  1. Hover over the table

  2. Select Options in the upper-right corner

  3. From the pop-up menu, select Table display

List of table display settings

Within the table display settings, you will find all the different display options, including...

  • Pin expand row button: For easy row expanding, toggle this setting on.

  • Button new row button: A built-in button that appears, on hover, at the bottom of a table and allows users to add new rows

  • Gridlines: Toggle off to hide the gridlines of the table.

  • Freeze columns: Freeze a select number of columns that will remain in view while scrolling horizontally. Learn more here.

  • Row height: Set the row height for the view. Use the All lines option if you want the height of each row to be automatically set by the number of lines of text in that row (thus enabling text wrapping). Or if you prefer a fixed row height, choose between 1 line, 2 lines, and 3 lines.

  • Show subitems: Show or hide subitems on a view-by-view basis.

  • Table title: Toggle off to hide the table's title from view.

  • Above new row button: Choose whether to include a built-in button that will appear above the table, allowing users to quickly add new rows via an expanded view.

  • Search: Toggle on to display a search bar that allows for per-user search across all columns and rows.

  • New column button: A built-in button that will appear in the upper right corner of your table and allow users to quickly add a new column

  • Set column headers: Select the height of your column headers (1, 2, or 3 lines), or hide column headers entirely by selecting none.

Note that some of the above options may not be available for Packs sync tables.
