With Coda, you can easily create conditional formats using simple formula language in the table menu.

  1. Hover over the Table to see the menu, and click Options to view table settings in the sidebar menu. Select Conditional format.

  2. Click Add Rule, and select the table to which you want to apply the conditional formatting.

  3. Select the column in the table for which you want the rule to apply—each column in the table will appear as an option, so you can customize to your heart's content. You can then change what value the data must be to receive formatting.

  4. In the "apply to" dropdown menu, you can select whether you want to apply the format to all columns, or only specific columns, to fully customize your Coda doc.

You can also delete a conditional formatting rule by hovering over it and clicking the trash can icon.

To edit an existing rule, click the respective rule's formatting icon (Aa) to open the Conditional format menu.
