Learn how to customize your table display by hiding or showing various elements

Sometimes, you may want to hide gridlines or column headers in your table to change the way that it's displayed. Or you may want to collapse your table under a heading and don't need its title to show. This article will walk through the various visual customization options.

Table display options

The table display options is the hub for customizing the look of your table. You have the option to show or hide:

  • Table title

  • Column headers

  • Gridlines

  • Above new row button (a built-in button that will appear above the table and allow users to quickly add new rows in an expanded view)

  • Button new row button (a built-in button that appears, on hover, at the bottom of a table and allows users to add new rows)

  • New column button (a built-in button that will appear in the upper right corner of your table and allow users to quickly add a new column)

  • Search (a built-in search bar that allows for per-user search across all columns and rows)

Note that some of the above options may not be available for Packs sync tables.

To access these options, just follow these steps:

  1. Hover over your table, and click on Options in the upper right corner

  2. Select Table display

  3. Toggle on or off any of the display items, and watch your table change accordingly
