What are unique ways to shape Tables?

Tables in Coda are special in that they're more like databases than they are like spreadsheets. This means you can create multiple views of the same table that could look slightly different or substantially different depending on your needs - but still pulling from the same source of truth.

For example, imagine you started with a simple tasks table that had 7 columns:

Grouping

You could group this table across the top, across the left, or both!

Cards

You might also try changing the layout of the table to cards or board to make more of a kanban-style layout.

Timeline

Or, if you're looking for a timeline style view, you could view this same table as a Timeline chart (some people may refer to this view as a "Gantt Chart" depending on their background and implementation):
