Rows

In Coda, it’s not currently possible to freeze a specific row. Column headers, however, will pin automatically as you scroll—no special steps necessary.

Columns

Exciting news! It’s now possible to freeze columns in Coda.

To freeze columns:

  1. Right-click any column header to open the column menu.

  2. Scroll down to Freeze and hover over it.

  3. From the menu that pops out, choose how many adjoining columns you would like to freeze.

Note: 1 column will freeze the first column from the left, 2 columns will freeze the first and second, and so forth. None will unfreeze all columns.

Here are some other tactics for optimizing your work with tables:

  1. While clicking on column headers, you can move your columns around with a simple drag and drop depending on what you want to work with.
